WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEE?

Full Registration includes Monday to Wednesday

  • Attendance at all conference sessions on Monday,Tuesday and Wednesday
  • Conference Gala Dinner
  • Networking Reception
  • All conference catering - morning/afternoon tea and lunches
  • Satchel including the conference program, delegate listing and name badge

Day Registration includes 1 day only - * Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday

  • Attendance at all conference sessions on selected day
  • All conference catering on the selected day (not including the social function)
  • Satchel including the conference program, delegate listing and name badge
  • Multiple day registrations available

Student Registration

  • Attendance at all conference sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

  • Students need to provide proof of full time student identification. Please email the full time student identification to .
  • Does not include any social functions

Instructional Course Registration

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR THE CONFERENCE?

During the conference days, smart casual attire is preferred.

For the welcome reception, smart casual attire is recommended and for the Conference Gala Dinner, lounge suit/evening wear is recommended.

WHAT IS THE CLIMATE FOR MAY IN SYDNEY?

Usually warm days and mild nights with temperatures ranging from a high of 20 degrees C to a minimum of 12 degrees C.

CAN I BRING EXTRA GUESTS TO THE SOCIAL EVENTS?

Yes, additional tickets can be purchased for the social functions.

IS THERE CAR PARKING AVAILABLE?

ICC Sydney operates two 24 hour car parking stations with a total of 826 parking spaces including 11 disabled parking bays, 25 motorcycle parking spaces, 50 bicycle racks and 20 electric car charge spaces.

HOW DO I REGISTER FOR THE CONFERENCE?

I NEED TO CANCEL. IS THERE A CANCELLATION POLICY?

All cancellations need to be made in writing to Abby Masters at Consec - Conference and Event Management via email address

Conference Cancellation and Refund Policy

Delegates who find themselves unable to attend the conference after submitting a registration form are most welcome to nominate a substitute. In the case of a cancellation, delegates must inform Consec - Conference and Event Management in writing of their inability to attend. A refund of the registration fee, less a cancellation fee of $110.00(AUD) including GST will be made on or before 22 April 2018.

No refunds will be made to anything after the 22 April 2018.

All refunds prior to 22 April 2018 will be made after the conference. Any changes made to a registration within seven (7) days of the conference will incur a $40.00 administrative fee.

Accommodation Cancellation Policy

Delegates who cancel their accommodation booking must inform Consec - Conference and Event Management in writing of their cancellation.

WILL MY DETAILS BE PUBLISHED IN THE DELEGATE LIST?

In registering for this conference, relevant details will be incorporated into a delegate list for the benefit of all delegates (name and organisation only - in accordance with the Australian National Privacy Act), and may be made available to parties directly related to the Conference including Consec – Conference and Event Management, the Conference Organising Committee, venues and accommodation providers (for the purposes of room bookings and conference options), key sponsors (subject to strict conditions) and parties associated with related conferences.

If you do not wish for your details to be published in the delegate list please select on your registration 'I do not want my name to appear on the delegate list'. This is located on the first page of the registration form.

DO I NEED TO WEAR A NAME BADGE?

Your name badge is your entry to the Audiology Australia National Conference 2018 sessions and trade exhibition. If you misplace your name badge, please see the Consec - Conference and Event Management staff at the registration desk.

NO SMOKING POLICY?

All internal areas of the International Convention Centre Sydney are non-smoking areas and the Audiology Australia National Conference 2018 supports a non-smoking policy.

DO YOU HAVE ANY SPECIFIC NEEDS?

We endeavour to ensure delegates attending the conference with specific needs are catered for. Should you require particular assistance, please make a note on your registration form or contact Consec - Conference and Event Management via email:

At the International Convention Centre Sydney, the undercover car park has direct lift access to the Centre's convention and exhibition facilities.

Signage throughout the building is large and clear to ensure it can be read by all. Staff are trained to speak clearly when making announcements to public areas and hearing loops for all areas are available on request.

IS THERE SECURITY AT THE VENUE?

DO I NEED PERSONAL INSURANCE

Delegates shall be regarded in every aspect as carrying their own risk for loss or injury to persons or property, including baggage during the Audiology Australia National Conference 2018.

We strongly recommend that at the time of booking your travel and tours you take out a travel insurance policy of your choice. The policy should include the loss of deposit through cancellation, medical insurance, loss or damage to personal property, financial loss incurred through disruptions to accommodation or travel arrangements due to strikes or other industrial action.

The organisers are in no way responsible for any claims concerning insurance.

WHAT PUBLIC TRANSPORT FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE?

The ICC Sydney's central location is convenient with multiple transport facilities available.

Arriving by Taxi

The best taxi drop off and pick up locations include the new Iron Wharf Place next to Harbourside Shopping Centre and Zollner Circuit on the Southern end of ICC Sydney Theatre, both accessed via Darling Drive.

Taxis can be booked by contacting 13Cabs (13 22 27) or RSL Cabs (02 9581 1111).

Arriving by Light Rail

The Light Rail travels right through a number of Darling Harbour stations including ICC Sydney’s stops, Convention Centre and Exhibition Centre. The Light Rail starts at Central Station in the CBD and travels to Dulwich Hill in the inner west.

Arriving by Train

A short walk from Central or Town Hall will take you directly to Darling Quarter, Tumbalong Park and Sydney Visitor Centre. Town Hall and Central Stations are a 10-minute walk from ICC Sydney.

Arriving by Bus

ICC Sydney has its own bus stop. Bus routes 389 and 501 stop at Harris Street near Allen Street – a 10-minute walk from ICC Sydney.

Arriving by Ferry

Cruise into Darling Harbour on a ferry with direct services from Circular Quay, King Street Wharf or Pyrmont Bay Wharf.
